Mac El Capitan really slow - connecting, finding, accessing and transferring

Hello WD MyCloud Support,

I have WD MyCloud 3TB and Mac computers, and it has been a nightmare using the device - really slow and incredibly unstable - but now since i upgraded to El Capitan it is almost impossible to use it.

I am giving my last effort to make it usable and if i cannot put it in an acceptable level of speed and reliability, i will soon put it aside and go for a QNAP or Synology device.

Can you please tell me what can be done?
