I don’t know if this is the right forum for the “My Cloud” (not personal version). I get SmartWare running under continuous backup mode. Leave the program running. Make sure the computer can’t go to sleep. Come back to computer days later and in the backup tab it is disabled. What the ??? It was supposed to be in continuous mode. NOT MANUAL START !!! This stuff is not the reliable backup tool it is advertised to be. There is a list of not backed up files under the yellow triangle, indicates it never finished. Sooo I start it up again, click on the View files and click retry again. Never gets done. there are 77.12 GB after doing this multiple times. Help !!! I don’t suggest buying this. The concept is awesome, but it doesn’t work. I’ve been playing with this thing since Nov 2017. I still don’t have confidence in it. I guess I should go back to my old method of writing a batch file and setting it up to automatically start every night to a USB drive.

Here is a link for the SmartWare User Manual.
Its real simple, if continuous backup is selected, thats what it should do. I did set it up with tech support at the time. I have entire folders in the documents folder which have not been backed up ever and they have existed for months and are checked to be in the backup.
