This is my first post. I just got the WD My Cloud 2TB version for Christmas. Everything seems to be working OK except the continuous backup function in WD Smartware version 2.4.6. I also have the latest firmware for the cloud device set at 4.01.02-417.
When I setup continuous backup it works for the initial backup and what seems to be the next 2 or 3 backups, when I add a file to “My Documents”. But then after a couple of successful backups it fails. When I open the WD Smartware SW and look at the backup tab, the backup is going but never stops. I try stopping and restarting and also tried disable re enable but it does not work. If I delete the files in the backup and try again it works but again only for one or two backups then gets hung up again and the backup never completes. Any suggestions?
