MyCloud Backup Needs Constantly Re-Enabling

Hi

I have a WD MyCloud network drive. My WD SmartWare is version 2.4.16.

My laptop has two drives - c: and d: both on continuous backup.

Drive d: backs up fine. However when I periodically check with SmartWare the backup of c: has stopped and the enable/disable tab is set to ‘enable backup’ as if I’ve previously disabled it. I enable it again but a day or two later it’s again disabled.

The really annoying thing is that there are no warning messages so I’ve no idea if my backups are being performed ok without continuously checking.

Anyone any idea why my drive c: backup would be disabled?

Should have said my laptop is Windows 10.

Have you looked in the User Manual for SmartWare and read all the information from the Help tab in SmartWare? Do you have your drives set for Continuous or Scheduled backups?
