WD My cloud

I bought this POS years ago, never got it to work and forgot about it. Then the idiots are harassing me about my iCloud being full, when it’s not. They are persistent, so I remembered I had this awful device, again, that I never got to work. Then I find out support for this POS ended in February. 2026. I get that it’s a legacy device, however I spent well over $200 years ago and I cannot get this pos to work. I get the blue light, I have only one network, and it’s connected to it. I have macbook pro w/silicon chip M3. Can anybody send me SIMPLE directions to get this POS working? Please? It’s a shame this is so difficult, couldn’t get it to work then and now, WD refuses to help me with their product. I remember when WD was THE drives to buy. Now they’re horrendously greedy. I guess they have to pay the young billionaires money at the expense of their loyal custormers, like me. Thanks, in advance.

How do you get the messages that your iCloud is full?

I get that type of message/email often. I ignore them because it’s probable someone looking for my information.

I know what’s on my device and how much room is left by looking at the dashboard. I have a WDMYCLOUD 2nd generation with OS5.
