WD my cloud desktop app

Hi, i am using one of my WD My cloud 3tb. i want to connect to another laptop at my school network using desktop app. i saw some of the forum say the desktop app is no longer working. i want to check is it true ?

also is WD sync still available or can be use for wd mycloud?

i have downloaded the desktop app version 1.0.7.17 from someone sharing the link in this forum. i have successful installed it. but i cannot connect it.
Error 1 : no WD devices found in your network. try connecting with your WDMyCloud.com login.
then i try insert my email and password to connect.

Error 2 after i try to connect : saw mycloud device (add), certification (yes) , then failed to connect to the device

Anyone know what happen ? issit any setting problem wrong?

The My Cloud Desktop program has been End of Life since 2016. Recent firmware updates have rendered the program unusable. Going forward one is supposed to use the MyCloud.com web portal or the WD My Cloud apps for iOS or Android for remote access.
