WD My Cloud fails to connect device

I am receiving a quite annoying message via WD My Cloud PC app that I can’t to connect to the device!!!
I can access the dashboard (http://wdmycloud/) without any issue, I can also connect to the device via web but I can’t access it via the app.
I’m trying to sync some folders with my WD Cloud and I can’t do it because of this nasty error message

@arizos Since this Desktop app no longer works have you thought about using WD Sync?

Yes indeed it works now with WD Sync. Many thanks for your prompt reply and help.
WD makes such great products but the overall UX with so many different tools and processes creates a lot of confusion (I’m using WD Sync for WD My Cloud, WD Discovery for WD Cloud Home Duo :triumph::rage::exploding_head::exploding_head:)
