WD My cloud cannot open dashboard - MacOS Mojave

Since booting up my Mycloud device on a new network I can no longer access the dashboard nor can I access it from my iphone x using the latest app. The funny thing is that I can access it from my MacBook Pro through Finder and scroll through the folders.

I’ve been trying to access the dashboard both using its ip and also using the regular adress, nothing works. I get an error message “A network change was found, connection is cancelled”.

My PSP won’t let me use a static IP, but I managed to reserve an IP to my Mycloud device through the router settings (not sure if that is the same thing though).

When trying to access through my iphone I can find the device in the left hand menu but when trying to add it it gives me a request timeout over and over again.

Getting really tired of this now. Want to get my auto backup working again for all my iphone photos.

Any help is really much appreciated here. Thank you.

I use an app on my iPhone called “Fing”. It will scan your network. It will tell you IPs of all connected devices. I suspect your MyCloud IP changed somehow. I use this “Fing” app all the time. Its a free app im pretty sure. Or at least it was years ago and its always updated.

Thanks for your reply. Since launching the Mycloud device on the new network I’ve had the same IP all the time it seems (192.168.0.10). When trying to connect to that IP through both Chrome and Safari I still get “ERR_NETWORK_CHANGED” .

Any ideas?
