New to MyCloud and would like some help

I have a My Cloud device connected to my Apple Mac (OSX 10.7.5) via a port on my Airport Extreme router.  MyCloud has an IP address of 10.0.1.14 that I can use to access the device with my browser.  My device is a MyBook Live that is now at firmware level 02.43.03-022.

I have set up Remote Access and Mobile Access - well, I think I have.

My problem is that when i try to access my device from the WD2go.com web site, I don’t seem to be able to access it, or the information on it.  I’m getting error messages about valid certificates and have changed my Java settings so that I can let aplications run rather than my settings preventing them from running.  However, nothing much seems to happen even after clicking RUN to proceed.

I’ve updated the device with the latest firmware but still cannot access the files on the device from my browser.

I’d be grateful for any help please.

Hi there,

I replied on a different post of you and judging from your other question, I can tell that you were able to access the dashboard since you got the activation code for the WD Photo.

If my assumption was correct, how were you able to get the dashboard?

I haven’t been able to access the dashboard.

With the device attached to my router I can log on to it to set up the web and mobile access.  However, when accessing the device from the internet (from wd2go.com) I cannot see the files on the device and still get error messages about applications not being able to run.
