hello, I have problem with my WD My Cloud Device.
HDD inside this device have fault (solid red light) all diagnostic information inform about everything is fine. But this problem very confuse me and decide to look inside this device. So I put off from this WD Red HDD and plug into my computer with linux ubuntu.
Try figure out what happen with this HDD, by runing command “badblocks” on linux. Result from this command is to have 33 bad blocks in this HDD.
But I have next problem.
I lost partition table and all partition what I have is gone 
I don’t know why is do to me, but I think because HDD is bad.
I want to copy data from this HDD to another WD RED same as what fault. But don’t have this partitions.
I try run testdisk from here: TestDisk Download - CGSecurity
And something this software found, but I think is this data is not correct because when chose sector to see what files is in I have information about can’t read.
So I have final question
- Someone have idea how to repair this?
- Can give me information, from which this partition ext4 on WD My Cloud 4TB what sector start and what sector end?
Mayby when I set up the same sector ext4 start and end on testdisk how was he oryginal then something start working?
