Unable to connect to My Cloud Web Dashboard

Hi,

Just bought an EX2 Ultra. Set up WD Sync on my Mac, downloaded, set up and ran My Cloud on my iPhone without any issue.

After obtaining the IP Address for the EX2 Ultra on my network, I tried to access the Web Dashboard on my Mac, managed to reach the Login page but after I keyed in my User ID and Password, it kept denying my entry and tells me that my User ID/Password is incorrect.

Check my User ID and Password by logging into MyCloud.com, no issues at all.

Could anyone advise me on what could have went wrong with my Web Dashboard login?

FYI, I had made sure that I am on the same network when I tried to login to the web dashboard.

Have you tried a reset and/or power cycle?

Thanks for your response.

My unit has been certified dead after going through 2 hours of call with WD support, I am waiting for the replacement unit.

Hopefully the next unit will not have this problem.
