Unable to access dashboard at all

My my cloud mirror is working, I can access it through finder, and my music and video files play fine, but I can’t access the dashboard at all. When I click on the dashboard on my desktop I just get 'Safari can’t open the page ‘address’ because the server where the page is located isn’t responding. My drive IS connected to the network and I can play stuff stored on it using my apple tv so it is ‘on the network’ - I guess maybe it just has a different IP address than the dashbpard is expecting? But what to do??? Please help…

I’ve found what address is in use by looking at properties. But the webpage won’t let me in - it’s asking for username and password but I didn’t actually set those up. So I am still stumped! I could I suppose do a hard reset but I am concerned about data loss…

Default user name is “admin” with no password.

Sadly that doesn’t work. I am sure I never set up a user name or password though. I have another my cloud device where I have set up users and each user has a folder. That is not the case on this one…

Those are the default that come with the device, preset.

If you do the reset via the pinhole in the rear of the device near the USB ports your data will not be touched.
