Smartware Pro Stopped Recognizing My Cloud Drive

I’m running Windows 8 with Norton Security.  I noticed via File Explorer that I haven’t had a daily backup since February 23.  When I open WD SmartWare, the 4 TB NAS My Cloud drive doesn’t appear.  I can access it through Windows File Explorer just fine.  The only drive that’s there is a USB WD drive and Dropbox.  I updated SmartWare to 2.4.10 and no change.  I thought about reinstalling the software, but worry about my activations (licenses).

Has anybody else had an issue like this?

Hi there and welcome to the WD community.

Try to check if there is any firewall or anti virus software that is preventing the unit from coming up on the software. Also try to see if setting an static IP on the unit can help you out.
