REMOTE ACCESS in V02.32.05-046:
Prior to the V02.32.05-046 update remote access worked fine for me, although it was in relay mode. The V02.32.05-046 firmware update is meant to fix the relay mode issue, which apparently reduces performance. In my case I completely lost remote access. I was using the patch updates, then completed a RMA to try this version V02.32.05-046. Still no success.
After trying to open firewall ports, set up port forwarding and triggering no luck in getting the more remote connection either via wd2go.com or the android/IOS apps.
The only method I can get the remote access working is to disable UPnP on my router forcing the MBL back to Relay connection which is what it was on prior to the update when it worked. It now works and I have remote access to my drive again. However, this will cause you issues with other devices which require UPnP for example when online gaming or using Skype.
WD could try again and fix this.
