Regret to purchase MY CLOUD HOME

I did purchase 4 TB My Cloud Home system a couple of months ago, with the hope to storage the most important data. Since 3 weeks ago, the unit shows a slow blink behavior. The support from WD told me that the only option that they give me is to make a factory reset with the lost of all my info. For that, I prefer to pay to GOOGLE or Amazon to storage my info. Questions: 1.- There is an option to locally access the hard disk to extract my info?

Ideally I think you can get your files by taking out the hardware disk and connecting it to a PC?
But I have never tried that.

I am facing the same issue as you. I am contacting the support.


I will try to install a ubuntu OS to access and extract my data. I will keep you posted.
