RAID Degraded

I had an issue the other day, I noticed Drive 1 on my 4tb Mirror was showing a Red LED, I opened the dashboard and it showed an error saying RAID 1- Volume 1 degraded. I checked the health of both drives, and they were showing as good. So I then removed the drive 1, and re-inserted it back into the bay, and did a rebuild. Everything seemed to go fine, and I am no longer getting the RAID 1 error and the status is showing as Healthy in the dashboard, both drives are also showing as being in good health, and both drive LED’s are now showing Blue, Do you think I will still need to replace the drive 1, with a new drive?
Regards
Mick

Hello,

If possible try running a diagnostic using WD DLG. If the drive passes the test then you dont need to replace it.

Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows

Hi Hamlet
Thank you for the reply and advice, I am on a Mac, so I cannot use the data lifeguard,I have tried searching for a Mac version, but I don’t think WD don’t do one.
Thank again though for trying to help
