Problem to conect to my cloud outside my home

Hi everyone.

I have a WD MyCloud 2Tb, since a two or three days I can`t conect to my cloud from outisde my home, using the Windows Application, the Android App or the IOS App, and the Web App.

I have a Static IP configuration set and Port forward are shown in the UI web application.

I have the SSH enabled and if I use WinScp i connect with no problem.

How can I fix my problem?

Thanks

same problem here.

Hi guys, check if you have the latest firmware update installed. If the problems continue try following guide.

Firmware Release 4.00.01

I would try enabling upnp in the route and disabling the port forwarding to see if it helps

I do all that this guide said

A week ago, all did work fine, I don’t believe that change the firmware solve the problem. I don´t want change the firmware because, it does not allow third party apps instalation using apt-get

I found a solution.

  1. I click on Settings

  2. Turn off Cloud Access

  3. Click on Configure

  4. Set to Auto

  5. Turn on Cloud Access

  6. Go to WdMyCloud.com and try

  7. It´s work now

  8. Return to UI

  9. Set Configuration to Manual

  10. Set the port (in my case 8080 and 8443)

  11. Wait until the label says Port Forward Connection Established

  12. Try again and It’s work

  13. Try in an other computer in other LAN outside Home

  14. It´s work!!!

Guys is there a general problem here because I am no longer able to access my device from a remote location on wifi? All was working and now of course I cannot access it locally due to being away…
