Remote Access Issue on wd my cloud 3tb

Hello all

i have the 3TB my cloud setup on my network at home so i can access my files while away or on the road. but it seems iam unable to remote access my device on another network using both the WD Desktop app for windows and the Mobile app for android. i have setup the device correctly on my network and my device is setup to port foward correctly, i also setup my netgear router and my modem to both allow port 80 and port 443 but iam still unable to remote access outside the network. i do have the latest firmware installed on my device but i cant really find out what might be the problem. i did set my device to have a static IP so port fowarding could work correctly.
