PR4100 Keeps trying to backup USB

I have the pr4100. The problem I have is the usb backup says it backing up and nothing is plugged in. I did have my passport wireless pro connected in the front usb and pushed the backup button. I left it plugged in for a couple days and it finished backing up. On the My cloud site says it is still trying to backup. So I plugged it in and left it for a couple more days and it still showing that its still trying to backup. Is there a way to cancel this I’ve even tried rebooting. I hit the stop back up but it just keeps trying to back up.
