Hi, longtime lurker here who had found this boards immensely helpful in the past. So thanks for that.
My present issue is driving me insane though.
All of a sudden, about a month ago, my internet connection began dropping every couple of minutes or so. Through a process of elimination I eventually discovered that it was being caused by the MyCloud (or, at least, that switching off/unplugging the ethernet cable resolved the issue)
In my efforts to resolve this I have so far:
- Checked for IP conflicts
- Disabled the actual ‘cloud’ function on the NAS
- Restored the MyCloud to factory settings
- Restored my router to factory settings
And so far all to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
