Can someone tell me why the LED reads 11.8tb free (I know that is the total capacity) but after transferring 1tb of data it still reds the same. The GUI also only shows 11.8tb free not the actual space free. I have reset and also reformatted the drives but outcome the same. Is it the nature of the beast not to be correct. I can see in windows explorer what I have there in free space, but not with the unit.

Hey Bob,

I am not a pro at this. I did find that my EX4100s tend to hang onto the space until I clear the recycle bin.

Dashboard > Settings > Services -recycle bin (bottom of services). Someone may know better.
