My WD MyCloud OS5 NAS has gone “off-line” and has a slow blinking blue light on the front.
I’ve tried power cycling (removing & reconnecting the power supply).
I’ve checked the Ethernet connection to my Router (OK).
I’ve tried changing the Ethernet cable between NAS and Router (no effect).
Any suggested fixes before I attempt a “soft-reset” (4 seconds with the power on)?
Can you access the My Cloud Dashboard using a web browser?
Can you access the My Cloud using it’s IP address?
Have you checked the router’s administration page to see if the router’s DHCP server indicates the My Cloud has obtained an IP address and is connected to the local network?
As indicated one way to find the My Cloud IP address is through the router’s administration page. Most ISP provided routers/gateways will have an administration page that is accessable. Often they put the administration page access information (URL and username/password) on the bottom or back of the router/gateway.

Before the soft reset, you should try to scan and recover data from NAS as first aid.
