There is no reason to obfuscate the issue by calling it something else unless it is a different unit then it is not a My Cloud Home and in that case you should post in a different subforum.

The blue light on the front is now solid on (no changes made by me).
However, the device still appears off-line when trying to access via the web.
What I’m after is some advice on how to get it back on-line and/or retrieve my data from it.
No apologies needed but you should post in the correct subforum because 99% of the ‘Home’ owners here do not know what you are talking about with the ‘blue light’.
If you simply go to the WD community landing page, you will see your unit’s picture listed on the left side. Simply click on the OS3 or OS5 subforum and it will lead you to their subforums with owners who know what you have.
Look at this image and if this is what you own, what is the firmware? If it’s 04 then you own a 1st generation WDMYCLOUD with OS3. You can no longer connect to the internet with it.

It’s a “My second generation with OS5”.
The front Bule light is still slowly blinking.
Reading the User Manual I can’t find problem that is indicating.
