I can’t find one anywhere and so far I haven’t been notified on my Pr4100 that there’s an update available yet. WD has one more day and I’m going to get p!!!ed off.
It appears that who you spoke to at WD might not have had accurate info on the next firmware from a date standpoint. I am sure it will be available soon, not sure getting pissed off will do any good.
Im posting to you because you stated an update to fix the issue is coming, I have been dealing with support for 5 weeks, all types of issues, Will never understand why they dont group test with the community before doing this type of stuff on units. I hope that you reply when the update is there so that I get a notice from you. Thxs
Yep, only 1.5 more years until full EOL for these. Time to start saving up to get a Synology or other NAS for my/our needs.

The .102 update came to me today! So far after updating everything seems to be working pretty well. I’m hoping this really does fix all of our issues!

I see the update but no release notes yet. Let us know how it works after it bakes for a while.
Release notes stated an it included an updated version of Golang to improve server stablility. That was all the info included.
I don’t see that, the link for the release notes for firmware goes to https://os5releasenotes.mycloud.com/ which shows the latest is the 5.31.101 release.

Several hours into backing up both PR4100s using the PR4100’s backup app and all is good. No 500 error codes and I’ve been back and forth in and out of both of their dash panels. Usually by now something has either failed during a backup or the 500 code hits. Keep your fingers crossed.

Which Synology model do you recommend?
It all depends on what your need is. I haven’t started at looking at them yet, but will be since these boxes will be EOL in 1.5 years.
