I am having difficulty accessing my clou file server.
What is happening is as follows:
When logging in via windows desktop application, I can log in, locate the device but clicking on the device to access it the application displays an error information.
I have 8 remote units that exclusively access this device, I need them to access by the application because the browser is locked.
What can I do to correct this error?
I already searched for the previous version of the device firmware but did not find on any of the WD platforms the firmware corresponding to the my cloud ex2 ultra device.
The firmware version that is installed is version 2.31.183

The reason why you can no longer log in to your device is that the My Cloud Desktop application has been discontinued (according to WD when I got in touch with them) and is no longer being updated. If you want to continue using your device you can either access it locally through the windows file explorer or/and through the device’s dashboard online (http://mycloudex2)
The My Cloud Desktop application has been End of Life since 2016. Use the Mycloud.com web portal instead for remote access. For local network access one can use Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder. WD Support has a Knowledgebase article covering this issue:
What I find amazing is having a Mycloud account with the Forum and other WD. Never once saw an email (which on file with WD) regarding ending access, end of life, etc. Instead, it’s overwhelmingly obvious in these forums folks had to discover this through their devices failing to work.
