the last version of Wd My Cloud device is 5.9.0.103 so you need to wait a few hours. It’s an automatic process.

But I’ve plugged the WD device on the internet for 3 days already.
And I did try to reboot it once during this period. So when u said that it’s automatically upgrade, does it mean I just leave it there and don’t need to trigger anything?

Yes,
you can’t manually force the update. I think they send the update gradually.
One possibility it’s to change network…try to connect myCloud directly to your rooter with ethernet cable.
I have the same issue and was looking for the same answer.
So far here the Cloud is very slow and not updating… I think we have to be patient.

How is your device connected to the internet?
Do you have a router or any kind of endpoint-protection (i.e. antivirus, firewall), which is blocking the access/traffic?
