As the services are all backup online, I want to know how to manually update the firmware on my home duo. There must be a way, either via SSH or USB as my device is unable to update on its own. And no, you can’t tell me it’s defective. The device is brand new.
They should be possible, the competition provides manual updates, it’s the minimum that They can do.

As I stated before, something must be wrong with the automatic update procedure. That’s why I’m asking for WD to develop a way to manually update the firmware.
