My cloud home firmware update problems

Hello I have a My Cloud Home 8 tb, for 2 years, but have never been able to update the firmware, however I follow your instructions to switch off and unplug the power and wait 10 seconds and reactivate. My router has UPnP enabled but it hasn’t updated for more than 4 days. What can I do?
