How to free up space on MyCloud

My MyCloud is full, and it’s incredibly frustrating, I cannot see how to remove old files. I have spent HOURS but there seems to be no way to free up space once it gets full? I must be incredibly stupid, I can’t figure it out.

I have WD Smartware Pro setup for continuous backup.

I expected a few topics on this subject in here but no one else seems to have this problem. I feel like such an ■■■■■.

First, How many backup versions do you have set for files? See image below. Click on, tap or activate image to enlarge it.

I am set to 3. The problem I think is that I have some huge files that were temporarily on my main hard drive that I have since deleted and don’t want anymore, but I don’t think they get deleted from the backup.

Fantastic. A backup device that you can’t cleanup. Guess this is going in the trash.
