Having issue with my cloud app on my samsung tablet

Cloud app is having trouble accessing my cloud. If I reset it it works for awhile but then cant acces it through app. I can acces it through a different video app, but not through cloud app. It is also available on computer so I dont think problem is with my cloud or attached usb drive. Any ideas on why app fails to be able to access my cloud.

Your router is probably being given a new IP by your ISP, due to a reboot.

The MyCloud in port forwarding mode cannot cope with this.

Turning off Cloud Access and then turning it back on should restore the connection.

But that’s no good when the IP change happens when you’re remote from your network…
