Folders’ permissions issues (macOS)

Hi,

So here I am lost.

I have a MyCloudEX2Ultra with firmware 5.13.114.
I use GoodSync for WD 11.11.1 on the NAS with GSTP syncing.
We have Macs.
I have been using it for almost 2 years with virtually no issue.
I had to clean install my MacBook. It runs Monterey.

I sync 3 folders: desktop, documents and downloads to my NAS with GoodSync.

With the clean install, I create my sync job from scratch. But now although the files are syncing, the three synced folders on the NAS appear with the red sign on them in the Finder. I can’t access their content there. However, I can see the content in the web app, the iOS app and Files (with the app plugin). The _gsdata folder is readable in the Finder.

Consequently I clean installed the goodsync server on the NAS. But it did not fix it.

I have opened a support case #220805-004553

Has anyone encountered that issue and found a solution?

Best

AF

Yes I did as written.

Got this solved with the help of GoodSync.

I had to start anew and uncheck « copy permissions » in advanced. They said they will change the default setting accordingly.
