Ethernet connections interruptions and restarts

Dear WD and the rest of the community,

I face a weird problem, the Ethernet connection interrupts, both Ethernet traffic LED’s switch off momentarily and switch back on.

As you can imagine if I transfer a big file the web traffic goes from constant load to zero and then back up again.

This shut down occurs randomly but quite often lets say roughly every 5-10 seconds.

I have the 4Tb version of MyCloud and this issue is affecting my streaming performance greatly.

Any advices?

What kind of network switch / router is it plugged into?

TP Link Gigabit Switch

There’s been a number of users reporting issues with TP Link’s hardware…   They replace the switch with another brand, and problem goes away.
