Entire Folders Vanished

I have a 12TB MyCloud mirror (not Raided). A year ago a folder just randomly vanished and I lost many important files. I assumed I deleted it (single mistaken click with not trashbin on this ■■■■). Now, RANDOMLY, 3 of 5 folders are missing. These folders also shoe missing from the admin panel. The thing also routinely ran nonstop from about 2am to 5am. I’ve learned my lesson about using this ■■■■ but still need to recover the files so I can get them on a functional system. Any ideas? RT studio suggests the data is there but recovering it that way results in tens of thousands of unname uncatagorized files. I’ve tried the resets. I use MAC.
