So I am looking to purchase a My Cloud Mirror Gen2 for my home. I have a few simple questions. Because the NAS has two drive bays running in Raid 1, how does one go about replacing a dead drive? Will I be notified somehow if a drive dies? Can I just buy a new drive, slip it in, and call it good? Also, does the dashboard management page support snapshot backups to an external hard drive? If so, will the dashboard management page notify me if that drive dies? I appreciate any responses. Thanks!
