Couple of questions

1st - Can we replace the current hard drive with another one, say one bigger? I want a 6TB or larger, but I can’t pay $249.99 for an entire new my cloud.

2nd - Has there been a change to where we can tell how much space we are using on each share to show in Windows Explorer?

  2. Right-click/Properties?

If i were to take the drive out of the My Cloud, pop it into my computer via SATA, and partition the drives that way, then put it back in the my cloud NAS enclosure, would it still work?

Yes. See the link provided in the previous post. It explains it all once the drive is connected to the PC or external enclosure.

The links to the 7z image doesn’t work.

See later in that thread for another download link.
