Can't load apps manually

I have a WDMC Mirror Gen2. It’s connected to a local peer-to-peer network, that is not connected to the internet. I have no problems updating the firmware manually. However, when I try to load apps manually, I don’t get any farther than the EULA dialog box.

I click on the Accept button on the EULA box, and nothing happens. I am able to cancel the box. Do I need to be connected to the internet for some reason when I Accept the EULA? Other tools I’ve installed on the Windows 10 boxes attached to the network have EULA warnings. I’m able to get past those without an outside connection.

I recently installed the firmware update, 2.30.172. I don’t know if this is a problem with the update, or an underlying problem with the interface.

Alternatively, is there a way to install apps using the command-line interface?

Hello

Please refer to the page 57-59 of the user manual provided below to know how can you install apps for your my cloud device:

Hi,
I’ve tried following the instructions in the manual. My issue is that I can’t get past the EULA Accept button. I click on the button and get no response, the dialog box remains open until I click Cancel. I’ve tried this several times and cannot get past the EULA box.

Hello pwmeyer,

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this.

Hello, i’ve got exactly the same problem. Did you already solved this problem pwmeyer?

Sorry, Wouter55, I didn’t solve the problem. I decided to try using a different type of drive which had native versions of the apps I was looking for.

Good luck,
Pwmeyer
