Ex2 Ultra - can't manually install any apps

Hi,
when i try to manually install an app on my Ex2 Ultra NAS (firmware 2.30.181), the web interface remain blocked in the EUAL page. If i click the accept button, nothing happens.

Whether I click or not, after some time the page freeze and i have to reload.

The single bay My Cloud units, the general subject of this subforum (My Cloud) do not officially support adding third party apps. Search through the dedicated EX2 subforum using the forum search feature (magnifying glass icon upper right) if you haven’t already to see if there are any additional discussions that may be similar to your issue.

Typical suggestions apply. Try a different web browser. Turn off all browser add-on/extensions. Make sure to configure the My Cloud to use a DNS server in the My Cloud Dashboard > Settings section.

Having the same problem. No amount of trying other browers helps. I get the same issue with buttons not workign if i try to log in via the web app with anything other than admin.

The single bay My Cloud units (subject of this subforum) does not support the “App” feature that the multi bay models have. See the dedicated subforum for your My Cloud (if using a multi bay model) where users with that model may be able to assist.

I have the same issue on an EX2 Ultra.

Tech support has been very little help on the subject. Their “solution” is to do a factory reset, including a data wipe, and start over. This is unpalatable to me. I’ve had a ticket open for more than a month and have spoken to tier 3. Ridiculous.

Were you able to get this resolved?
