I can't manually install apps

Hi,
I cannot install any app .
I have a “MyCloud Ex2 Ultra” (firmware updated 2.30.181).
When I open the App section i click on the link “Installa manualmente un’app” (it’s in italian)


and then I click the accept button in the next window but nothing happens.

The popup window remains there indefinitely and after some time the browser page freeze.
I need your help.

I would suggest to power cycle the device and connect Ethernet cable coming from the My Cloud in another port of router. And then try to install applications.

I’ve tried, but nothing changes.
The EULA page still freeze.

Moving the NAS to another network has solved the installation problem.
Probably the firewall or the proxy of the lan at work causes the issue.

Having the same problem. The ‘Accept’ button does nothing. Tried Chrome and Edge browsers. Rebooting the NAS does nothing. NAS is running latest firmware.

It appears that the ‘apps’ on this WD NAS are an afterthought. The Elephant Drive integration doesn’t work at all (but doesn’t tell you it isn’t - you just notice things aren’t actually backed up (if you’re lucky)), and it’s because WD hasn’t bothered updating the app in months, and apparently have no plans to.
