Accessing an old My Cloud 2TB

Hi,

Trying to access my old My Cloud 2TB (WDBCTL0030HWT) via network connected to my router. I see it in my File Explorer on Win 11 and I can click it to get to the IP-address UI (http://192.168.50.173/UI/) to log in (see picture SWE). All I get is a website with username and password. I don’t remember them and can’t change anything. What do I do?

Have you tried this address, \\WDMYCLOUD? If you have shares on your device then try this, \\WDMYCLOUD\share name.

You can also try the “4 second reset”, to reset both the network config and admin password.

Unless you changed it, the default admin username is “admin”.
