Hi
I just bought the 3TB myCloud and had no difficulty with attaching it to my router and accessing it from my main PC (also connected to the router by ethernet). The problem is that I can’t seem to access it from a second PC (also connected to the router by ethernet). I can see the WDMYCLOUD icon when I click the network icon on the left in the This PC icon but every time I try and access it, it says “Windows cannot access WDMYCLOUD, check the spelling” etc etc…
Can anyone please suggest anything - I wasted many hours on this and just cant get it to work…
I got this from WD but there was no user manual in the box - I just assumed that it was online to be honest. I watched a couple of Youtube vids and installed it without any problems. I would call support but the international freephone number that they provide in the UK is highly chargeable from my mobile. I called the WD Store this morning to see if they had a UK number and they basically said “NO, if you’re not happy with it, send it back”.
That’s it, no help at all.
The Dashboard > Network tells me that IPV4 Mode is set to DHCP and in Windows services Local Master Browser is ON and Max SMB is SMB 3.
Ive tried a 4 sec (actually around 30 seconds) reset and that did nothing…

The user manual can be downloaded from WD Support. Find the section for your particular My Cloud and download the complete manual PDF. It could also be on the My Cloud in some folder, too. Otherwise the devices have no manual in the box.
@homeyjay I gave you a link that contains more information plus links to both User Manuals, 1st generation and 2nd generation My Clouds.
On your main PC that it works on do a right click on My Cloud under Storage then click on Properties and see what the IP address is then do the same on your second PC and see if the address is the same, if not change it. See example image below.
