If changed My WD TV live hub (with latest firmware) connection from a wired to a wireless connection. The USB adapter is mentioned in the compatibilty list.
The WD gets a internet connection. spotify and youtube works, but i cant access the WD by PC with UNC or WD remote.
putting back on the ethernet cable and i have connection with PC and remote!
You say the computers cannot find the HUB. Can the HUB see the computers via network share?
Perhaps try “net view” from the command line (cmd.exe) to see if your computers can resolve the Hub’s name when it’s on WiFi. If not would also try and ping the IP adress of the HUB to see if computers see the adapter.
Net view below showing live devices (computers etc) on the subnet. The command shows a “remark” indicating which machine is the HUB. Ping below that going direct to the IP address, though you could be blocking that with your router.
C:>net view
Server Name Remark
\DEVICE_1
\DEVICE_2 WDTV LIVE
\DEVICE_3
\DEVICE_4
The command completed successfully.
