Not really clear any of the OS/3 devices were having security vulnerabilities patched; EOL or not.
And going forward. . . not sure how OS/5 is going to be maintained.
I developed my personal data strategy based upon the fact that 100MBs internet connections is a fantasy - - -especially outside European metro areas. Middle of Kansas? Or Middle of India (or worse. . .over the Pacific). . .the connectivity just isn’t there.
Maybe today, I might consider a remote online service to upload 20gb of photo files. . .but certainly not a few years ago.
