When Resuming the sync it started all over again!

Please help me to resolve the following issue. I synced on of my biggest folders (1 TB) to MyCloudHome by clicking with the right mouse button and choosing Sync to MyCloud. At one point, when almost all the files have been synced I stopped the synchronization. But when I resumed it instead the synchronization to continue, a new folder “name(1)” has been created and the whole procedure started again. So now I will have two identical folders. I don’t want the second one and would like the synchronization to go on only with the first folder created.
I tried deleting the second folder from the WD storage device but each time it is creating again.

STEPS TO RESOLUTION:

  1. Unsync all folders from My Cloud Home
  2. Rename or delete the 1st and second folder from My Cloud Home drive
  3. Enable Sync again on the folder is question
