WESTERN DIGITAL My Passport 2TB. 2.5" USB 3.0

Hiello,

before 1,5 year I bought this disk but after a year disk does not appear on usb 3.0 port I checked on two new cable but same then I tested on 3 new notebook and 2 pc via 3.0 port  but not now my disk only working with usb 2.0 port.
What is the reason and solution ?

my disk is full and I have very important data but my vendor told me it will take 20 days to check and analyse the problem!!!

Windows 7 64 bit, All Driver Updated
intel i7

Ram : Corsair 12 Gb

Disc : WD Black Cvr.

Mainboard : Asus Rampaga Gene III Support usb 3.0

Bios : Updated

Usb 3.0 Host Controller NEC

when I insert to usb 3.0 shows yellow error on mass storage driver!

please any solution for this problem.

Have you tried reinstalling the WD Passport driver or changing the USB cable?

ı unistalled but windows automatically install a new driver I bought 2 new cable  I checked on 5 pc and notebook only work with usb 2.0 no any usb 3.0 slot :frowning: but since a year I was using it  as 3.0

Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.
