Wdtvlive live not connecting after firmware update

I have just used my wdtvlive live for the first after a few months without use and it started and asked me to update the firmware. I did this and since then I can’t connect to my home wireless network. I have put in the IP address etc but it keeps telling me it’s incorrect. I know it’s right as I have other items connected to the network with this IP address and they all work fine.

Any ideas? I’m pretty frustrated by it and would love a solution. Any help greatly appreciated.

Surely not.  You can’t use the same IP address on multiple devices simultaneously.

By the way, I think your post is in the wrong forum. This forum is for the 2009 model WDTV Live HD and 2010 model WDTV Live Plus.

Lots of ways.  

Look at the sticker on the device for the Model and Part Number.

Look at the packaging it came in.

Look in the UI’s ABOUT page.
