Both WDTV live and WDTV suddenly won't connect

Hello,
Hopefully somebody can help me. For no apparent reason both of my WD players have stopped working.

One is a WDTV original and the second is a Live one. Both are running the latest official firmware. Both units power on fine but have no network connectivity at all. I run the automatic setup on each for a wired connection but neither can make a connection.

I have rebooted my pc a number of times all to no avail. I have also tried plugging a laptop into the CAT5 which is plugged into the units and the laptop is able to obtain an IP address and connect to the network.

Any ideas on what could be up?

I am using Windows 7 64 bit.

You can try pressing the reset button.

Under System Settings,  in Network Settings I think, it lists the MAC address for your adapter. Report back the MAC address.

My network connections are not working and it is showing 00:00:00:00:00

The MAC address should not be all zeros. If it is then I think the network adapter is dead :frowning:
