I have just purchased a WDTV Live Gen 3, I have a 300gb hard drive that I use to transfer tv shows and movies onto. The WDTV found my drive and there was no problem,however when I added more files they do not show. Does anyone know what the problem is? I am also upto date with the firmware.

But try powering down the box and starting it up again, then it will rescan all the files.
Thanks but I tried that and for some reasons it doesn’t pick up the new files added to the drive.

Are you using the “Media Library” feature? If so, when starting to browse, select the top folder, press OPTIONS, then RESCAN.
