WDTV SMP w/ NAS and a PCH Popcorn Hour

Hi all-

I have a WDTV SMP that I use connected via wire.

I have 2 network resources/shares that has media on it . I have them set up as Samba shares.

1 share is coming from my NAS, the other share is coming from the internal HDD of my Popcorn Hour.

Is there a way that I can have all the media available to me on the WDTV at once? I may have set it up incorrectly but I usually can connect to 1 share to display the media then if I need a movie from the other share I have to hit the red button, browse to the network resource it and click it so the green check shows then go back to my video and the new resource shows.

Does that make sense?

It also seems like the metadata is there at times and other times it is just a folder. Perhaps I dont understand all of that yet.

Is there a way to put the thumbgen/mook thing on my WDTV even when the shares on on 2 different servers?

Besides connecting via network shares,  have you tried the media server option?

I think the Media server portion is what I am missing but I have been unable to set it up correctly thus far.

I have 2 SMB shares. 1 from my NAS and 1 from my PCH. The WDTV sees both SMB shares without issue.

Once I have selected the share drive that I want to view it will list the share folders. If I hit the options menu to tell it to use Media Server it will tell me something to the fact that I have to add the shares to the Media Library? Does that sound right? When I try to do that is does not show the SMB share but only the DLNA shares. Any thoughts?
