WDTV Live USB adapter

I have

WD TV live HD media player 

Firmware Version: 1.06.15_V

as per the list provided, I have bought the wireless adapter WUSB600N Ver 2. But unfortunately, the box is not picking up any wireless network. Can someone please advise how to set it up?

Hi, update the firmware to the latest version (1.06.16) and then try again. For the steps check the link below.

Here’s a thought . . . did you buy the right kind of adapter for your particular router?

I just posted a message right before I saw yours about a new wireless N adapter I bought that works fine.

But I didn’t have wireless N until recently.  If I had bought the adapter without paying attention when I had just wireless G, I could be scratching my head right now wondering why the darn thing doesn’t work.
