Wdmycloudmirror.local unreachable

Hello,

I have a shared folder for my son, who lives out of state. He informed me he cannot login to his folder. This has happened before and I have simply rebooted the device. However, when I try to reach http://wdmycloudmirror.local/ on my iMac I get the following message: This site can’t be reached
wdmycloudmirror.local’s server DNS address could not be found.

I was able to go to www.wd2go.com and get into my admin folder, but that only gives me access to the shared folders, not the dashboard.

I hesitate to do so, but, should I unplug the unit to reset it?

Hi, you can unplug the power, is just a power cycle not a reset, however just don’t power cycle the drive by doing this all the time.
